Description
This article provides information about how to access and configure the Submit Page for Unregistered Users (formerly known as the Inet Page).

On-Premises Submit Page URL

You can access the Submit Page by using the URL

https://servername/workgroup/Internet/user_add.asp

where servername is the TCP/IP host name of the machine where Tracker is installed, and workgroup is one of your installed workgroups.

For example, if you installed Tracker on a server named myserver and wanted to access the Submit Page for a workgroup called "development", then you would use this URL:

https://myserver/development/Internet/user_add.asp

NRTO Submit Page URL

If you are using NetResults Tracker Online (NRTO), the hosted version of Tracker, and you have the Submit via Web Page option enabled the URL is:

https://yourcompanyname.nrtracker.com/yourcompanyname/internet/user_add.asp

where "https://yourcompanyname.nrtracker.com/yourcompanyname" is the URL you use to browse to your account.

Video to Help You Configure this Feature

You can view a video that explains how to configure this feature. Or, use the following steps.

Configuration Steps

Enter the Submit Page License Key

If you're using NetResults Tracker Online (cloud service), skip this step. If you're using the on-premises version of Tracker, use the instructions in the Entering License Information Help section to enter the license key for the Submit Page.

Enable the Option in General Preferences

  1. Login as Admin and click on the Admin icon.
  2. Click on the General Preferences link.
  3. Scroll to the Add-On Features section. Set the option "Enable Submit via Web for Unregistered Users" to "Yes", then click OK. If you don't see this option, you either need to enter your license key (on-premises customers) or you are not licensed for this option. Contact NetResults Sales to add this option to your account.

Create a User Group for use with this feature

Create a user group called "Unregistered" and enable the necessary privileges:

  1. Login as Admin and click on the Admin icon.
  2. Click on the User Accounts link.
  3. Click on the Manage Groups button.
  4. Click on the Add Group button.
  5. Enter "Unregistered" or another name in "Group ID" and enter a description. In "Visible Forms", select the forms you wish to display on the Submit Page.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Under "Add Privileges", check the box for the option "Add via Submit Page. Under "Email Content Privileges", UNcheck the box for the option "Link" so that a link will not be included in email notifications sent to unregistered users since they do not have a Tracker account.
  8. Click OK to save the user group.

Set the Unregistered User Options

  1. Login as Admin and click on the Admin icon.
  2. Click on the General Preferences link.
  3. Scroll to the Unregistered User Options section.
  4. For the User Groups option, select the user group you created (e.g. "Unregistered"). Choose when unregistered users should receive email notifications in "Send Email Notifications On". In another step, you will configure the email rules that will be applied. For the rest of the options, review the General Preferences Help section.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.

Email Rules

Use the information in the Notification Rules Help section to configure rules with <Unregistered User> selected in the "Notification List" that will send email notifications to unregistered users.

Fields

Use the information in the Submit Page Help section to configure the fields that should be available on the Submit Page.

If you are planning to send email notifications to unregistered users, check to see if you already have an "Email Address" Text field configured. If so, add it to the form you will be using on the Submit Page. If not, you will need to add a Text field with the Unregistered User Email option set to "Yes".
